Embrace Your Passion
I grew up in southern California and first heard Mason Williams' "Classical Gas" when I was 8 years old. I knew then that I wanted to be able to "do that," and that was how it started. Many years later, I love playing guitar more than anything else, with the exception of spending time with my family.
Classical Training
Learning the basics of electric rock guitar from The Metal Method correspondence courses, one of my earliest guitar "heroes" was Randy Rhoads, who dreamed of some day merging the best of the rock and classical guitar worlds. Inspired by this I started taking classical guitar lessons from Joe Costello in college, and later studied further with Scott Kritzer.
I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and whatever I'm feeling at the time.
